Council Member Kamin announces District C rain barrel sale

Our District C City Council Member Abbie Kamin has announced the third annual #DistC Rain Barrel Sale. From CM Kamin:

When it comes to water conservation and flood mitigation, we all have a part to play. Harvesting rainwater will not only help you in this effort, but also reduce your water bill if you use your collected rainwater for your lawn and garden. Each rain barrel holds up to 50 gallons of rainwater and is perfect for a single-family home. Made from recycled material, they come with instructions for easy set-up and use.

To purchase one of the 300 rain barrels at the subsidized price of $10, you must be a District C constituent, reserve a barrel in advance (first come, first served), and be able to pick up your rain barrel at a designated time on Saturday, November 12.
