10 in attendance, begins at 7:03pm

-SNAP list needs to be finalized - due in April.
Improvements costing $350,000 or less
David & Allen have info and will finish it and send it in.

-Richmond Rail - Neartown's issues & concernes will be codefed and taken to METRO

-David wants the city to help us get maps w/boundaries, correct spellings, etc.

-Deed restrictions will be important to some neighborhoods this year

-Urban Corridors - workshop on the "University Corridor"
Wed & Thur 30 & 31, 6:00-9:00pm, St. Luke's Methodist Church

-David hopes for Neartown meetings to be interactive, and also for Neartown to be interactive with the City.

-CIP Capitol Improvements meeting, Sat. Feb 2, District D meeting 10:00-Noon, at HCC on 288 & Belfort, sponsored by City Council Member Wanda Adams. Projects costing $350,000 or over

-Wanda Adams wants to stay tight with Neartown

-David thinks one reason SNAP & CIP requests are denied is we don't follow rules or don't understand $ limits

-Bike & Pedestrian plan got nixxed by City. "We needed a council person to get behind it."

-Officer Wayne Pate from the 802 Westheimer HPD storefront:
545 felony arrests (not including misdemeanors) in 2007 by our 802 cops
report cards left on car windshields by cops, grading owners on "theftability"
cops are going to target criminals in Montrose neighborhood near the Sears store
big flap about moving PIP to combine Montrose PIP with the Heights PIP
